Employee benefits

Oticon is a workplace comprised of many people with various backgrounds. Health and wellbeing

As we all know, it's important to take care of your health, and at Oticon we have created an excellent framework that allows our employees to keep in shape and maintain a healthy diet in the workplace.

We offer a number of sports clubs with something for everyone. When colleagues engage in sporting activities together, it reinforces our one-team mindset and makes everything a little more fun. Our head office in Smørum is home to a fitness centre with weekly classes including zumba, spinning, crossfit and kickboxing. The fitness centre features the latest equipment and is open to all employees in our enterprise.

Lunch arrangement
At Oticon, we place great value on the benefits of a healthy and nutritious meal for our employees. For this reason, we offer free high-quality fruit and lunch at all of our locations in Denmark. And we're very proud of the fact that our cafeteria in Smørum was awarded the quality prize for best guest appraisal in both 2010 and 2011. Our cafeteria food and meal policy is based on the 8 dietary recommendations that contribute to the health of our employees. In addition to our fruit and lunch arrangements, Oticon also offers employees the opportunity to purchase evening meals and home- baked bread at favourable prices.

At Oticon we feel that it is important that everyone enjoys coming to work in the morning. This is why we focus so highly on employee well-being, which we believe arises when employees experience a good balance between resources and requirements. For this reason, we deal with and prevent stress on an ongoing basis as well as work with a number of tools that promote communication and social capital (trust, fairness and cooperation).
