How to pair your hearing aids with the Easy LE Adapter
With the Easy LE Adapter, you can turn your Oticon hearing aids into a wireless stereo headset and enjoy high-quality music, stream audio and connect to video calls using the latest Bluetooth® LE Audio technology. The Easy LE Adapter can be plugged into Android™ phones, tablets as well as PCs with USB-C.
Before you start
Your hearing aids must support Bluetooth LE Audio to work with the Easy LE Adapter. The Easy LE Adapter is intended for use with Android phones, tablets as well as PCs with a USB-C port. Most phones with a 3.5 mm jack will not work as intended with the adapter, as manufacturers often choose to route the audio through the 3.5 mm jack rather than the USB-C. The adapter is not intended for use with Android devices that natively support LE Audio. It is also not intended for use with iPhone, iPad, Mac or Vision Pro.
Pairing hearing aids with the Easy LE Adapter
Plug the Easy LE Adapter into the USB-C port of your device.
Plug the Easy LE Adapter into the USB-C port of your device. The Easy LE Adapter will automatically power on and enter pairing mode (if no existing pairing is found). When the Easy LE Adapter is in pairing mode, the LED indicator will flash blue. In this mode, the Adapter will search for compatible LE Audio devices within 2 meters.
Note: If your device does not have a USB-C port, it may be possible to use a third-party USB-C to USB-A dongle. Not all adapters are guaranteed to work.
Place your hearing aids into pairing mode to connect.
Enjoy audio from your device.
Once the pairing is complete, you are ready to stream audio with the Easy LE Adapter. The Easy LE Adapter will remain paired to your hearing aids even if it is removed from your PC, tablet or smartphone and plugged into a new device. You can use your LE Adapter with all your compatible devices, and you can easily switch devices by plugging the adapter into the USB-C port of a different device.
Note: Your hearing aids can only connect to one Easy LE Adapter at a time.
During streaming or calls the push-buttons of your hearing aids will control the streaming volume. Accepting, ending and rejecting calls via the push-buttons will not work while using the adapter.
Resetting the Easy LE Adapter
Make sure the adapter is plugged into a phone, tablet or PC. Reset the adapter by pressing a tool into the pin hole until the LED indicator on the adapter starts flashing blue. Pairings have now been cleared, and the adapter is now ready to pair with a new device.
