How to pair a landline Phone Adapter with your hearing aids

Learn how to connect a Phone Adapter with your hearing aids, so you can use them as a hands-free headset.

Before you start

You need to use an Oticon Phone Adapter and an Oticon ConnectClip to stream phone calls to your hearing aids from a landline phone.

First, connect the Phone Adapter to your landline phone

Connect the Phone Adapter to a power outlet.

After a few seconds, the power indicator on the front of the phone adapter will light up green.

Disconnect the phone line from the landline phone or base station.

Plug the phone line into the Phone Adapter ‘in’ connection socket.

Plug the supplied phone cord into the Phone Adapter ‘out’ connector and into the landline socket on your phone or base station.

Lift the handset from your landline phone to check for a dial tone.

Next, pair the Phone Adapter to your ConnectClip

Make sure the Phone Adapter is powered on.

 The power indicator should be steady green.

Press the multi button and volume up button on the ConnectClip for about 6 seconds until the status indicator blinks blue.

Place the ConnectClip on top of the phone adapter. Pairing takes between 20 – 60 seconds.

The pairing is completed when the power indicator on the phone adapter and the status indicator on the ConnectClip turn steady blue.
