Oticon RemoteCare is a feature within Oticon Genie 2 and the Oticon Companion app that enables you to remotely deliver person-centred hearing care.
Oticon RemoteCare brings the benefits of telemedicine to your clinic. You can meet your clients online, send instant messages if they can’t hear you, and quickly make adjustments to their hearing aids.
With Oticon RemoteCare, feedback analysis can be easily carried out initially, or repeated, during remote sessions following acoustic adjustments, supporting confident fittings and saving both clinicians and clients unnecessary clinic visits.
Have face-to-face conversations with your clients.
Set up phone calls if a client prefers not to use a camera.
Use the instant chat function to send short messages.
Taking follow-up meetings online can save you time compared to holding visits in the clinic.
Let clients access quality care from the comfort of their home without having to arrange coming into the clinic.
Be on hand to support clients during the first days and weeks with their new hearing aids.
Oticon RemoteCare is perfect for follow-up meetings after an initial first fit. It is a convenient forum for both parties where you can counsel your clients to learn how their hearing aids are working for them and make any necessary adjustments.
Oticon RemoteCare helps break down the barriers for people who need convenient hearing care, such as those who struggle to get to your clinic due to time and transport considerations.
Using Oticon RemoteCare, you can use in situ audiometry measurements via the hearing aid in a client’s ear to measure hearing thresholds using the individual’s own ear acoustics. These remote measurements are accurate, precise and equal to ones made in a clinic.
Remote in situ audiometry is performed in the same way as in the clinic with Oticon Genie 2, with the Background Noise Level feature ensuring conditions are comparable to in-clinic conditions. The main difference is that the Oticon Companion app is used as the client’s interface.
